Department of foreign languages at the faculty of economics, RUDN University invites colleagues and experts to participate in the 11th International Research Conference "Topical issues of linguistics and teaching methods in business and professional communication".
Conference agenda includes one plenary session and seven sections:
1. Topical issues of teaching foreign languages for business communication
2. Modern tendencies of profession-oriented foreign language teaching
3. Strategies for teaching translation in non-linguistic higher educational institutions
4. Intercultural business communication
5. Topical issues of modern applied linguistics:
5a – Germanic languages (English, German)
5b – Romance languages (French, Spanish, Italian)
5c – Oriental languages (Chinese)
6. Topical Issues of linguistics
7. Topical Issues of linguodidactics
The agenda also includes holding presentations, master classes, workshops and round-table discussions.

Publication of conference materialsand submission deadlines
Conference Proceedings featuring participants’ report theses will be published in Russian at the pre-opening stage (RUDN University Press, Russian Index of Science Citation, ISBN). Report theses in Russian are to be submitted by February 1, 2024. Upon conference completion participants are invited to submit papers in English to be further published as part of Collected Papers (to be further applied for indexation in Scopus). Papers in English are to be submitted by May 10, 2024. Three papers selected by the Organising Committee will also have the opportunity for publication in Training, Language and Culture journal indexed in Scopus. All contributors are requested to register online using our Registration Form and attach their report theses/papers.

Registration Fee
Registration fee amounts to RUB 3500 and is to be paid not later than March 1, 2024 against the invoice. Registration fee covers participant package and programme, conference information package, participation in all sessions and sections, coffee breaks. Publication fee for papers in English to be published as part of Collected Papers indexed in Scopus is free of charge. Those willing to attend the buffet reception are welcome to do so at extra charge.
