On August 15, 2022, the Project Office for International Cooperation “Russia – BRICS” will hold the 2nd meeting of the Creative cooperation program "UNESCO Creative Cities of the BRICS countries: Art Together" - "How the UNESCO status helps to promote the image of the territory"
Regular online discussions between representatives of UNESCO Creative Cities of the BRICS+ countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, etc.) will take place.
The program aims to stimulate the intellectual interaction of the participating cities, the exchange of experience in the field of culture and art, and the international implementation of projects.
Creative Cooperation Program "UNESCO BRICS Creative Cities: Art" will depend on themselves six regular online discussions (1.5 hours each, July-December 2022) in India, China. , South Africa, etc. In the context of the experts, they shared their experience of the programs of the communities of their cities, included in the UNESCO Creative Network.
The program was initiated by the city of Ulyanovsk, which became the first public city to join the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in 2015 (“Literature”).
The discussions are attended by cultural and humanitarian organisations of the BRICS countries and possessions represented by the directors of UNESCO creative cities. The program will be accepted until August 13.
