On 28 November, Moscow will host the first face-to-face stage of a conference dedicated to accelerating “the new space race.” This year’s agenda is centred on applied cosmonautics, and its international, political and legal aspects.
The event is organised by the Faculty (School) of World Politics of Lomonosov Moscow State University and the Roscosmos Corporation. The Gorchakov Fund is the information partner of the project.
The conference is expected to be attended by undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as young scientists with similar specialisation. As a research problem, they are invited to analyze the prospects of applied space activities, legal aspects of their organisation, and determine the tracks for international cooperation in this field.
The participants, whose theses will be scored the highest by the expert committee, will have an opportunity to make a report within the framework of the face-to-face stage of the conference. It will be held in Pavilion No. 34 at VDNKh called the Cosmonautics and Aviation Centre.
How to participate?
1. Fill out the form.
2. Attach abstracts in Russian up to 6,500 characters (including spaces) on the subject of one of the sections.
3. Issue abstracts according to the following criteria.
The conference will feature the following sections:
New prospects for applied space activities;
Issues of legal regulation of applied cosmonautics;
New horizons of international cooperation in applied projects.
The last day for accepting applications is Sunday, November 5. Following the results of the congress, a collection of analytical materials will be published, certificates will be awarded to participants, and diplomas and memorable gifts will be awarded to prize—winners and winners.
