Acceptance of Applications for the InteRussia Fellowship Programme for Non-Russian Doctors

Organisers: The Gorchakov Fund, Rossotrudnichestvo and Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University (Sechenov University).


The programme is to take place from 22 September to 5 October. It includes an introduction to the process of the treatment and diagnostic at leading Russian healthcare institutions, which use cutting-edge high-tech treatment methods.

The programme will allow non-Russian doctors not only to gain practical experience in leading Russian clinics but also to take part in research activities.


Programme areas:

  • regenerative medicine;

  • oncology;

  • urology;

  • cardiology;

  • medical engineering (flexible electronics);

  • genetics;

  • bioimaging.


The selection results will be announced on 15 August. All the candidates will be informed about the results via email.


Eligibility

  • age 25-35;

  • degree in relevant studies;

  • status of a physician or resident physician at a non-Russian medical organisation;

  • non-Russian nationals;

  • professional command of English (at least B2 level).

  • Applicants for the fellowship will be selected on a competitive basis.


The selection criteria

  • candidate’s professional background;

  • quality of papers published by a candidate;

  • results of the interview (online).


How to participate?

  • Sign up on the English version of the Gorchakov Fund website. If you did not receive a registration verification email, check your spam folder.

  • Navigate to the “My Projects” section, click on the “Create application” button, select the “InteRussia Medicine” contest and hit “Yes.”

  • Fill in ALL mandatory fields.

  • Click on the “Submit” button in the “Apply” section and wait for the status to change from “Preparing” to “Submitted.”


The organisers provide:

  • travel from an applicant’s place of residence to Moscow and back;

  • hotel accommodation;

  • visa processing;

  • scholarship for the duration of the fellowship in the amount of 30,000 rubles.


The participants pay for:

  • health insurance;

  • meals during their fellowship;

  • a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test (if necessary and depending on the requirements at the time of arrival and stay).
