Akil Mohammad joined International Project Congress


Akil Mohammad, Founder of IYES Foundation joined International Project Congress (IPC) along with other members from BRICS countries


On 22nd June 2022, the International Project Congress was joined by representatives from BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) countries. IPC (International Project Congress) is a platform for bringing

together leading youth organizations and young leaders from many countries of the world. All five BRICS countries have been represented on the website of the International Project Congress (https://ip-congress.org/).


The first participant of the IPC from India became Akil Mohammad, Founder and Chairperson of the International Youth Edu-Skills (IYES) Foundation, President of the Association of Asian Students, and Former Vice-President of the NGO "BRICS. The world of traditions".


Russia and China were the initiators in the formation of the International Project Congress. After the Joining of members from Brazil, India and South Africa, the BRICS representation at IPC became possible. Major assistance was provided by the Project Office of the International Youth Cooperation “Russia-BRICS” to International Project Congress by recommending members from BRICS Countries with which the IPC’s cooperation started a couple of weeks ago. Thus, young leaders from 23 countries of the world now cooperate on the IPC platform.


For the first time, the idea of ​​creating an International Project Congress was announced during the visit of a delegation of young leaders from Russia to Caracas (Venezuela) in September 2019. During the meetings with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, ministers of the Venezuelan Government, deputies of the Venezuelan National Assembly and leaders of the Juventud PSUV, it became clear that from mutual visits and general conferences it was necessary to move to permanent and systematic cooperation of youth organizations from different countries. The same year, the idea of ​​creating an IPC was supported by the participants of the Russian-Azerbaijan Youth Forum in St. Petersburg, as well as delegates of the Forum of CIS Youth Organizations in the State Duma of the Russian Federation.


In the International Project Congress, bright young leaders represent each participating country including Deputies of national parliaments, Leaders of the largest youth organizations, Independent young leaders, Representatives of state structures responsible for the implementation of youth policy and Famous journalists.
