The Gorchakov Fund together with Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University launches their first call for applications to join the InteRussia fellowship programme for foreign doctors!

The fellowship will launch on 4 December and include seven programme areas, each featuring a specific educational and practical track. The fellowship includes introduction to the process of the treatment and diagnostic in leading Russian healthcare institutions, which use the cutting-edge high-tech treatment methods. The programme will allow foreign doctors to gain practical experience in leading Russian clinics, learn from leading professionals in their field, and take part in research activities.

Programme areas:

• regenerative medicine

• oncology

• urology

• cardiology

• medical engineering (flexible electronics)

• genetics

• bioimaging

The selection results will be announced on 16 November. All the candidates will be informed about the results via email.

Eligibility

Candidates who meet the following requirements at the close of the application process are welcomed to participate:

• degree in relevant studies;

• status of a physician or resident physician at a foreign medical organisation;

• foreign nationals;

• age 25-39;

• professional command of English (at least B2 level).

Applicants for the fellowship will be selected on a competitive basis.

The selection criteria include:

• candidate’s professional background;

• quality of papers published by a candidate;

• results of the interview (online).

Terms of participation

The organisers provide:

• travel from an applicant’s place of residence to Moscow and back;

• hotel accommodation;

• visa processing;

• scholarship for the duration of the fellowship in the amount of 30,000 rubles.

The participants pay for:

• health insurance;

• meals during their fellowship;

• a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test (if necessary and depending on the requirements at the time of arrival and stay);
