Purpose of the BRICS Youth Innovation Summit 2025:

The purpose of BRICS Youth Innovation Summit 2025 under the theme of Innovating the Future: Technology for Sustainability and Social Good aims to empower the next generation of innovators to address global challenges through collaborative, technology-driven solutions that promote sustainability and social equity among BRICS nations and the broader Global South.

Sub-Themes for Innovation:

1. Circular Economy and Waste-to-Wealth Technologies- Exploring innovations that turn waste into valuable resources, fostering resource conservation and economic opportunities for environmental resilience.

   
   

2. Tech-Enabled Food Security and Agricultural Resilience- Discussing the role of IoT, and big data in sustainable farming and supply chain optimization. Address the nexus of technology and indigenous knowledge systems to enhance food resilience.

   
   

3. Artificial Intelligence and Big Data for Social Good- Harnessing AI and big data to tackle critical challenges in healthcare, education, disaster management, and governance.

   
   

4. Digital transformation for economic growth- Exploring the futuristic approaches that leverage technology to modernize industries, enhance productivity, and foster innovation.

Who Should Apply?

This Summit is open to young entrepreneurs, innovators, and professionals aged 18-35 who are actively working on projects aligned with the following sub-themes:

Travel and Accommodation Information:

• Visa Support- SABYA will provide a formal letter of invitation and assistance to help with your visa application process.

• Accommodation- SABYA will cover your accommodation during the Summit in Cape Town.

• Participant Responsibilities- You will need to cover the cost of your travel from your home country to Cape Town, as well as the visa application fee.
