This conference provides a unique opportunity for youth organisations to engage with experts, policymakers, and civil society leaders to discuss and promote open governance, transparency and accountability in the region.
Eligibility:
Young individuals aged 18 to 30 year-old
Members of a YDC member organisation
Passionate about promoting youth participation and empowerment
Have experience or a strong interest in promoting open governance and civic participation
Experience with the OGP process would be appreciated or the ability to demonstrate understanding of the process
Based in an African country.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
Attend the event with full coverage of the cost of travel and attendance.
Share their experiences and projects with a regional and international audience.
Learn from and collaborate with experts in governance, human rights, and youth engagement.
Build networks with other young leaders and organisations.
Gain insights and tools to strengthen their impact in their communities and organisations.
