The School of World Politics of MSU together with Rosmoscos State Corporation will hold the 5th International Winter Space School 'Space and World Politics.'
The event is timed to coincide with the 270th anniversary of the university and devoted to the memory of the first generation of Russian space explorers.
The main objective of the school is to teach the skills of understanding the current situation in space exploration, taking into account new threats to international security and technological trends, and forecasting trends that could affect the future of global cosmonautics.
Who can participate?
School students, undergraduate and postgraduate students;
All those interested in political aspects of cosmonautics, regardless of an area of study;
Non-Russian participants.
School participants will receive certificates of the established form.
The following topics are planned to be covered over the course of five days:
contribution of Lomonosov Moscow State University to the development of Russian cosmonautics;
legal regulation of new types of space activities;
the problem of preventing an arms race in space;
law or "rules"?
BRICS+ in space: space for cooperation;
BRICS+ space economy;
scientific and technical aspects of modern space activities;
space activities in modern culture.
Classes will be taught by employees of Lomonosov Moscow State University, educational and research organizations, as well as representatives of the Roscosmos State Corporation.
