Take part in the conference organized by the Southern Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Russian Center for Scientific Information (RFBR).


Specialists interested in fundamental research, innovative technologies and advanced developments in the fields of oceanology, hydrometeorology, environmental protection, environmental management, economics, sociology, political science, history and other related areas are invited to exchange experience and jointly solve existing problems in the study of the Azov basin and Azov region.


Objectives of the conference:


  • creation of a multifunctional interactive platform for constructive dialogue between science, education, government and business in the interests of sustainable development of the Azov basin and the Azov region;

  • formation of scientific collaboration of educational and scientific organizations of the Southern macroregion;

  • promoting the development of scientific and technological cooperation in the South of Russia.


Forms of Conference


  • full-time participation: oral (plenary and sectional) and poster presentations;

  • remote participation using the SberJazz online platform.


Forms of Participation:


  • In-person participation with an oral report.

  • In-person participation with a poster presentation.

  • Participation in person as a listener.

  • Remote participation with a report in video conferencing mode.

  • Participation in absentia (publication of materials).


Conference Topics:


The topics of the conference correspond to the following priorities of the Strategy for the Scientific and Technological Development of the Russian Federation:

  • countering man-made, biogenic, sociocultural threats, terrorism and ideological extremism, as well as cyber threats and other sources of danger to society, the economy and the state;

  • the possibility of an effective response of Russian society to great challenges, taking into account the interaction of man and nature, man and technology, and social institutions at the present stage of global development, including using methods of the humanities and social sciences.
