B2B Participants Engage in Online Business Dialogue Under the International, Interregional Socio-Cultural and Business Program "BRICS People Choosing Life"

In a significant step towards enhancing economic ties, business-to-business (B2B) participants from India and the Tver region of Russia convened virtually on June 28, 2024, as part of the "BRICS People Choosing Life" program. The online conference featured several key negotiations and discussions aimed at fostering mutual growth and collaboration.


The event was organized by the Regional Public Organization "BRICS. World of Traditions," "Peoples Friendship University," International Youth Edu-Skills Foundation (IYESF), and "Smart Mir Services LLC" with the assistance of the Trade Mission of Russia in India, the Ministry of Economic Development of the Tver Region, and the Ministry of Industry of the Tver Region.


Welcome Speech by Mr. Evgeniy Griva


Mr. Evgeniy Griva, Trade Representative of Russia in India, delivered the welcome speech, highlighting the positive trajectory of economic relations between the two nations. He recalled the substantial growth in trade, noting that the exchange of goods between India and Russia increased fivefold in 2022. Mr. Griva also emphasized the importance of B2B negotiations and the collaborative efforts between the governments of both countries.



Key Negotiations


1. Pulkit Gupta (Singla Timbers Pvt Ltd) and Sergey Kolchin (Dubrava)

- Singla Timbers, with 30 years of experience working with Russia, discussed their extensive import of lumber, including ongoing work with Red October from Russia.

- Dubrava, seeking to enter the Indian market, proposed initiating trial orders with small volumes, sharing their existing operations in South Korea, China, and Iraq.



2. Dinesh Joshi (Joshbro Global Corp) and Kornilova Olga Evgenievna (Discovery Peno)

- Discovery Peno detailed their production of dry wood and logs, primarily exporting to Egypt and Iran, and expressed interest in the Indian market.

- Joshbro Global Corp, involved in exporting food and interior services, identified potential collaboration opportunities in birch plywood and food services.


3. Kanish Gupta (Supreme Enterprises) and Zizganova Tatyana Mikhailovna (C-product LLC)

- C-product LLC, a producer of healthy food products, shared their extensive export experience since 2014.

- Supreme Enterprises, a veteran in food imports, discussed their global operations and expressed interest in exploring further business opportunities. The negotiation also involved Artem Viktorovich Zaitsev from Biomedical Innovation Technologies, specializing in dietary supplements.


4. Dalip Dua (Little Infra Private Limited) and Neplyuev Nikolay Borisovich (Amfibia)

- Little Infra Pvt Ltd, with an ongoing association with Russia, explored commercial operations of machines in India and potential government agreements.

- Amfibia discussed support for additional requirements in India and potential reverse engineering collaborations.



5. Shuaib Mansuri and Mr. Faizan (Verkko Group) and Ivan Dmitrievich Dmitrienko (ТВЗ)

- Verkko Group, a consulting organization specializing in railways, highlighted their collaboration with Transmash Holdings, which recently secured a contract to supply Vande Bharat trains to India.

- ТВЗ, a primary producer of locomotives for Transmash Holding, expressed interest in exploring opportunities with Verkko Group to enter the Indian market.


Conclusion


The conference marked a productive day of discussions, with participants sharing vital information and laying the groundwork for future collaborations. The event underscored the commitment of both Indian and Russian companies to deepen their economic partnerships and explore new avenues for growth.
