Last Date of Application: 31 July 2022

This forum is intended to bring together postgraduates' students from the five BRICS countries (Brazil, China, India, Russia and South Africa) or even those outside the five nations who are researching the BRICS nations in the themes outlined hereunder. The forum's focus is to stimulate and encourage multidisciplinary research in BRICS nations and determine the implications that COVID-19 brings about in the four areas of climate change, entrepreneurship development, local development, and the New Development Bank Funding priorities and outcomes. These are important imperatives that have implications for the viability of the BRICS formation and its influence as a hegemonic power in the Global South and worldwide. Importantly, these imperatives inform the sustainability of the individual BRICS national economies now and into the future. While attentive to the implications of COVID-19 on these sectors, equal emphasis is essential in forecasting possible pathways in the post-COVID-19 world. The forum calls on research papers and posters to produce country-scale and cross-national (BRICS) comparative data trends of qualitative and quantitative nature.
