The purpose and objectives of the competition

The aim of the Contest is to identify the best representatives among foreign migrants living in Moscow who blog and can potentially be involved in covering issues of intercultural interaction and interethnic dialogue of peoples, national politics.


The objectives of the competition are:

  • Socio-cultural adaptation and integration of migrants in Moscow.

  • Increasing interest in the topic of interethnic relations in Moscow.

  • Prevention of conflict situations involving migrants in the capital.

  • Identification and encouragement of the best bloggers engaged in covering issues of intercultural interaction and interethnic dialogue of peoples living on the territory of the Russian Federation.

  • Stimulating bloggers to creative activity on the topic of national politics and highlighting the socio-cultural environment of Moscow in the media sphere through the system of encouraging authors of the best works.


Requirements for participation in the Competition

  1. The competition is held for the purpose of selecting finalist participants.

  2. The contest is held for bloggers, in VKontakte, Yandex Zen, Telegram, Odnoklassniki, Rutube, etc. leading their own blogs on blogging platforms, raising the topic of interethnic interaction and intercultural dialogue of peoples living in Russia in their posts.

  3. The contest accepts posts published in one of the social networks that meet the stated topic.

  4. Unpublished posts are not accepted for the contest.

  5. The Contest participants have the right to submit their contest materials written in any genre in one or more categories of the competition, but the total number of submitted works should not exceed five. When submitting materials in several nominations at once, the participant fills out one application, where he clarifies the nominations and indicates the names of works for each specific nomination.

  6. If the work submitted to the Competition is collective, then the participant submitting it must obtain the consent of all those who participated in its creation.

  7. Posts submitted for the Contest are not subject to review. The submission of an application for participation in this Competition is regarded as the consent of the participants to the conditions put forward by the organizers of this Competition.

  8. The contest is held in the following categories:

  • The best post (complex design of content with text);

  • Best Video Clip;

  • Best photo;

  • Best Media Project (community coverage);

  • The best blog;

  • Special nomination for the best coverage of the activities of ethnic and interethnic non-profit organizations (SMM).

Summing up the results of the Competition

  • The professional jury of the Competition will determine the laureates and winners in each nomination.

  • The materials of the winners will receive wide coverage on the Internet and other relevant resources.

  • The organizer establishes the main prize for the winners of the Competition in each nomination, diplomas of laureates and winners. The jury has the right to award special prizes.

  • The results of the Competition will be announced and announced at the summing up ceremony during the Forum events.


The organizers of the Contest

The contest is a joint project of the Youth Assembly of the Peoples of Russia "WE ARE RUSSIANS" and the Department of National Policy and Interregional Relations of the Government of Moscow.
