With the upsurge of active cases in India, International Youth Edu-Skills Foundation (IYESF) prepared and responded with plan to restructure food distribution, adapting Government guidelines to protect staff, vendors and community people.
IYESF organized Free meal camp in the slum area near sector-74, Noida. 400 healthy food packs were distributed by the volunteers following the safety norms against pandemic COVID-19. Hands were sanitized, masks were distributed and a social distancing was maintained during the whole event.
Later, people interacted their IYESF volunteers and explained about their unpleasant situation fighting against hunger during the lockdowns and pandemic. They were grateful to have this event organized in their region and felt blessed to have food for their children.
The NGO is working to support and achieve the United Nations goals of sustainable development.
