The Gorchakov Foundation opens a competitive selection for participation in the Georgian-Russian Dialogue-2023.
The partners of the event are the Georgian-Russian Public Center named after E.M. Primakov, Moscow State Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia and the St. Petersburg Foundation "Center for International and Regional Policy".
The purpose of the forum is to deepen the expert dialogue, develop Russian-Georgian youth cooperation, strengthen friendly and professional ties between the peoples of Georgia and Russia. Within the framework of the conference, discussions of issues on the bilateral agenda, meetings with public figures, as well as a cultural and excursion program are planned.
Who can become a member?
Citizens of Georgia and Russia:
young specialists in the field of international relations, politics, economics, regional studies, cultural studies;
activists of public organizations involved in international activities and issues of public diplomacy;
representatives of local and regional self-government bodies, state structures;
students and graduate students of specialized faculties;
journalists.
The age of participants is from 18 to 35 years. Their list is formed on the basis of a competition.
How to take part?
Fill out the application form and attach an essay. The selection of participants will take place on a competitive basis.
The topic of work on is determined by the contestants independently within the following areas:
-policy;
-safety;
-economy;
-culture;
-social sphere;
Essay requirements:
languages - Russian and Georgian
volume of material - no more than 5,000 characters with spaces;
text font - Times New Roman;
font size - 14;
line spacing - single, without intervals between paragraphs;
width alignment;
indication of the name, patronymic and surname of the author in the upper left part of the document;
placing the title of the work in the center in bold.
All works will be checked in the Anti-plagiarism system.
Announcement of results: before June 12.
Organizers provide:
travel from St. Petersburg to the village of Losevo and back;
accommodation in double rooms for non-resident participants;
food and movement within the framework of the program.
Participants provide: travel to St. Petersburg and back.
The organizers will pay for the authors of the three best essays to travel to St. Petersburg and back.
