The Mumbai stage of the business track of the International and Interregional Social and Cultural Program "BRICS People Choosing Life" co-organised by IYES Foundation with RPO "BRICS. World of Traditions", terminated on December 15, 2022, with a six-hour cycle of B2B negotiations at the JW Marriott hotel, as well as a meeting with the Head of REC JSC in India Timur Vekilov, on the sidelines of which a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Union "Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Samara Region" and the Indian Chamber of International Business (ICIB), headed by Mr. M. Singh, and an agreement was reached to establish a Business Club in January 2023 on the basis of the Samara Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Indian Chamber of International Business.
Business events in Mumbai were organized by Timur Vekilov with the support of the Trade Mission of Russia in India, represented by the consultant - head of the department of the Trade Mission in Mumbai S.V. Nechuneev.
The founder and director of the Russian IT company Get4click, partner of the international program "BRICS People Choosing Life" Artur Romashin took part in the business meeting with Timur Vekilov and business negotiations at JW Marriott. Get4lclick is a large Russian Internet platform in the field of e-commerce.
The entrepreneurs from Samara highly appreciated the organization and implementation of all the events of the business trip. In his interview with the Indian edition of News 18, the Director General of “Metrology and Automation” LLC, A.P. Maslennikov, stressed that "the business mission of the Samara Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry Union in India was held at a high organizational level. The trip to India was the first experience of establishing business contacts with numerous companies of this country, and we hope for further development of partnership relations with Indian colleagues, diversification of import-export relations. Indian businessmen and entrepreneurs turned out to be open, positive and cooperative partners, which inspired us to continue our active activities in India".
The Regional public organization "BRICS. World of Traditions”, headed by Lyudmila Sekacheva, provided comprehensive organizational, informational and logistical assistance to the Union “Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Samara Region” at all stages of preparing and conducting the business mission in the Indian Republic.
During the stay of the business delegation in India, the consecutive translation of the presentations of Samara companies and B2B negotiations was carried out by the Coordinator for International Relations of the Program “BRICS People Choosing Life”, member of the Student’s Council of MGIMO University under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Dmitry Kurbatov and Chairman of the International Youth-Ed Skills Foundation, partner of the Program Akil Mohammad.
The business mission of the Union "Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Samara Region" received significant information coverage. Press releases about the business mission were published on the websites of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in the Republic of India, the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of India, the Embassy of the Republic of India in the Russian Federation, as well as in a number of major Russian and Indian media ("The Economic Times", "The Times of India", "Janhit Times", TASS, RIA Novosti, "International Life", etc.).
Filming materials of presentations, negotiations and interviews of members of the delegation of the Samara Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be included in a professional movie about the Indian stage of the international program "BRICS People Choosing Life", directed by journalist and documentarist

The business mission of the Union “Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Samara Region” demonstrated the serious attitude and sincere interest of Indian business circles in establishing multifaceted Russian-Indian cooperation, as well as opened up great prospects for the development of multisectoral interregional cooperation between Russia and India.
