State Institute of Russian Language named after A.S. Pushkin invites you to take part in the VIII International Student Scientific and Practical Conference “In the World of the Russian Language and Russian Culture”, which will take place on April 26, 2024.
Purpose of the conference
The conference is held for undergraduate and graduate students of Russian and foreign educational and scientific organizations. First of all, the conference is aimed at students who study Russian as a foreign language.

The conference is dedicated to research into the Russian language and Russian literature
Areas of work of the conference:
Russian Russian language (studies of phonetics, vocabulary and grammar of the Russian language).
Communication studies (Russian in different fields and types of communication).
Comparative studies (Russian against the background of other languages).
Current issues of translation and translation studies.
Problems of intercultural communication.
The methodology of teaching Russian as a foreign language.
Russian literature: history and Modernity (including comparative studies).
Regional studies of Russia.
The conference is held in a mixed format (in person in the State. The Pushkin Museum and online).
Terms of participation
To participate in the conference, you need to prepare a publication in collaboration with your supervisor − abstracts reflecting the main results of independent scientific research. The publication must be issued according to the requirements of the organizing committee. Then you need to fill out an application and send the abstracts by March 1, 2023. The application without the text of the publication is not considered.
Until April 1, the organizing committee and the expert group consider applications and works.
By April 10, the organizing committee sends letters to all potential participants informing them whether the publication of the student's work is possible, and the organizing committee invites the authors of the best works to speak at the conference.
By April 20, the organizing committee sends all participants the conference program with information about the work of the sections and links to connect.
Do I need to pay for participation in the conference?
Participation in the conference is free, publication is free.
When will the conference proceedings be published?
The collection of abstracts (RSCI with ISBN assignment) will be released in early 2025.
