On March 14-16, 2024, the Faculty of International Relations of St. Petersburg State University will host the twelfth International Student Scientific Conference "Russia in the Global World: new challenges and opportunities."
The conference will be held in a face-to-face format with the possibility of remote connection for nonresident participants.
11 regional studies and 4 special sections are planned to work within the framework of the conference. The working languages of all the sections presented are Russian and English.

5. Russia and Latin America
6. Russia and North America
7. Russia in Central and Eastern Europe

9. Russia in the Baltic Sea region
10. Russia and the Arctic
11. Russia and the Indo-Pacific region
12. Russia and Symbolic Politics
13. Russia and arms control
14. Russia and the global logistics infrastructure
15. Interpretations of the past in modern international relations (school section).
Instructions for submitting applications
Russian and foreign undergraduate, graduate, and specialist students, graduate students, and young scientists (under the age of 35, without a degree) are invited to participate in the conference.
To participate in the conference, it is necessary to send abstracts prepared in accordance with the requirements set out below by e-mail by February 18 inclusive rgw-conference2022@yandex.ru .
The volume of abstracts is from 5000 to 7500 characters with spaces, in docx format, Times New Roman font 12 p., single spacing.
Selected bibliography (5-10 titles). The text of the abstracts should be followed by a list of the most important sources and/or literature that the author uses to prepare the study. Footnotes to the bibliography in the text of the abstracts are not mandatory. The bibliographic list is not included in the scope of the abstracts.

The Organizing Committee reserves the right to reject applications for reasons of non-compliance with the rules of registration, low scientific level, receipt of the application later than the deadline and other reasons.
