IYES Foundation and SAISA signed an MoU to improve Indian-South African ties


International Youth Edu-Skills (IYES) Foundation signed a memorandum of cooperation with the South African International Students Association (SAISA) aimed at developing international cooperation between the youth of India and South Africa in various fields like education, culture, science, innovation, tourism and business.


On July 2nd a South African youth seminar was held in Moscow in a hybrid format in honour of South African Youth Day, which is traditionally celebrated on June 16 and symbolizes the date of youth strikes against the apartheid regime.


The theme of the event was youth Cooperation and multicultural dialogue from the perspective of South African history and culture. The event was organized by the South African International Students Association in partnership with the International Youth Edu-skills (IYES) Foundation, Russia-BRICS Project office of International Cooperation, South African BRICS Youth Association (SABYA), International Youth Center “SuperNOVA” and SRAZU Group.

During the Seminar two MoU’s were signed aimed at developing closer cooperation with the youth of South Africa, realizing joint projects and informational exchange.


The first memorandum was signed between the International Youth Edu-Skills (IYES) Foundation represented by Mr Akil Mohammad, Founder and Chairperson of the organization and the South African International Students Association (SAISA), represented by founder and chairperson Victoria Maheso Tumisang. The purpose of the memorandum is to develop international cooperation between the youth of India and South Africa in various fields such as education, culture, science, innovation, tourism and business.


The second memorandum consolidated the relationship between the International Project Congress, represented by Chairman Ilya Lisnyak, and the South African International Students Association (SAISA), represented by founder and chairperson Victoria Maheso Tumisang. Memorandum was aimed at developing international cooperation on a number of projects of the IPC participating countries, involving foreign students in the international agenda and mutual support of the initiatives of signatory organizations.


Akil Mohammad talked about the activities of the IYES Foundation and invited the participants to join the organization and follow the website (www.iyesf.com) for getting regular updates about the youth events. He also advised the participants to take active participation in the youth events for developing their skills and exploring opportunities for themselves.
