PIR Center, a leading Russian independent organization in the field of international security, invites applications on a competitive basis to fill the position of “Editor-in-Chief of the PIR Center website – Coordinator of the Information and Digital Communications Block”.

Main tasks:

• Development and implementation of the organization's information strategy.

• Formation of a strategy for the development of the organization's website, control over the radical modification of the existing website, its promotion and securing its leading positions in Russia and influential positions in the world.

• Overseeing the development of the largest Russian Internet portal in the field of non-proliferation of WMD at the international level in Russian and English.

• Formation of a strategy for promoting key scientific and applied research of the organization through social networks and monitoring its implementation, which should lead to a qualitative expansion of the audience of these studies in Russia and in the world.

• Developing a strategy for promoting the organization’s image through social networks and achieving tangible, quantitatively measurable results.

• Management of the Block and its employees; interaction with contractors for the implementation of information projects and quality control.

• Fundraising for Block projects.

Requirements for the candidate:

• Higher education.

• Experience in information and editorial work (at least 3 years).

• Experience interacting with contractors, primarily with companies creating and maintaining websites (at least 3 years).

• Experience in website administration, editing and promotion, experience working with social networks, knowledge of the basics of HTML layout.

• Desire to work in an independent organization, interest in developing expertise in the field of global security and non-proliferation, public diplomacy in Russia.

• Interest in international relations and global security.

• Responsibility, efficiency, friendliness, stress resistance, initiative, communication skills.

• Although this position allows for a significant portion of the work to be carried out remotely, preference is given to candidates living in Moscow, primarily for the purpose of immersion in the work of the organization, participation in development brainstorming sessions, as well as in scientific and practical events.
