A meeting of the Leaders of International Cooperation of the SCO countries took place from 11-13 December 2020 at Hotel Delta, Moscow. The organizers of the event are the Federal agency for youth Affairs (Rossmolodezhi) and the Public Association of "leaders of international cooperation".
It was attended by representatives of youth organizations, student and business communities from India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, as well as official delegations of ministries and departments for Youth Affairs of the SCO countries.
The international youth Edu-Skills Foundation formed a 9 member delegation from India consisting of entrepreneurs, students, researchers, and journalists currently living in Russia.
The participants summed up the results of the joint project and program activities in 2020, as well as developed resource and road maps for the implementation of humanitarian programs and projects in the SCO countries in 2021-2022. Young leaders presented initiatives in five main areas for inclusion in the cooperation plan: volunteerism, entrepreneurship, creative industries, public diplomacy, and education.
The meeting experts were representatives of the SCO Youth Council, the Public Diplomacy Support Fund named after A.M. Gorchakov, National Committee for BRICS Research, Association of Volunteer Centers, International Association of Student Television, VOD "Victory Volunteers", Russian-Asian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, Junior Chamber International Russia, All-Russian Student Union, All-Russian Organization "Urban Renovations", Information and Analytical center for the study of socio-political processes in the post-Soviet space at Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov, as well as figures of the creative industry and business.
As part of the motivational session, international experts in the Dialogue on Equals format discussed with the event participants the current agenda of international youth cooperation shared their experience, and talked about key international humanitarian programs implemented in the SCO countries.
The final stage of the meeting was the signing of an agreement on cooperation between the Autonomous Non-Commercial Organization "Leaders of International Cooperation" and the All-Russian public organization "All-Russian Student Union".
