About the Program
Micron's Global Mentorship Program for Women for 2024
A 7-week life-changing journey consisting of weekly small group mentoring sessions with Micron's expert leaders.
What is a Global Mentoring Program?
Micron is committed to developing female STEM students and providing them with the tools they need to succeed. As part of its commitment to gender diversity and inclusivity, Micron is launching its global mentoring program aimed at providing students around the world with the opportunity to explore the professional world, acquire new skills, find their voice and start a successful career. 300 female students from different countries will be selected to receive this unique opportunity.
Who can apply for the program?
- The program is open to all female students from pre-university institutions or pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in STEM (Science/Technology/Engineering/Mathematics) or related fields
What can you expect from the program?
The program will last from April to May 2024 at no additional cost
The participants will be selected by the Micron team based on the candidates' biographical information and their presentation.
All participants will be divided into teams of 2-3 students, and a Micron mentor will be assigned to them. Each team will have weekly 1-hour phone calls with Micron mentors.
There will be several virtual online events with fruitful exchanges of views, including the global opening and closing.
The topics discussed at each session will vary depending on the feedback from the participants, but will most likely include career development, secrets of professional success, sharing experiences of overcoming difficulties...... etc.
Expectations
As part of the program, participants are expected to commit themselves to joining the weekly virtual sessions that they have organized so that you get the most meaningful experience.
