On March 25, Dialogue "Intercultural Interaction: Youth of the World" held at the co-working centre of the South-East administrative district of Moscow




The organizers were the Fund for Support and Development of the Regions "Rodnoy Kray" and the International Youth Edu-Skills Foundation (IYES Foundation).

 

The purpose of the event was to create an inclusive platform for participants to get acquainted with a culture dating back to the distant past, exchange experiences of study and work, prospects for building an independent business and integrating it into the international economy.

 

A relaxed, friendly atmosphere from the first minutes of the Dialogue: “Intercultural interaction: Youth of the World” was created by intercultural communications expert and trainer Daria Katkova during a networking session, which formed the basis for further confidential communication and set the tone for the entire event.

 

A moment of silence was observed to pay tribute to the victims of the terrorist attack that occurred on March 22, 2024 at Crocus City Hall.

 

The official opening of the dialogue began with welcoming speeches by the director of the Rodnoy Krai Foundation, Vitaly Vasiliev, and the founder and chairman of the IYES Foundation, Akil Mohammad. During their speeches, both thanked the participants for participating in the dialogue. They also spoke about the importance of dialogue in laying the groundwork for new partnerships.



Katkova Daria, Head of the International Youth Center SuperNOVA, Specialist of the Department of Career Guidance and Employment of the Moscow Regional Branch of the Presidential Academy opened the panel session as a moderator.

 

The first speaker of the session was Liliya Makarova, President of the Red Corner Foundation, with the topic of integrating cultural and cognitive processes into a multipolar world; she spoke about the Volunteer Cultural Project and the essence of the cultural code.

 

Vladislav Novoselov, head of the University of Business Technologies LLC, picked up the baton of Dialogue: “Intercultural interaction: Youth of the World” and came up with a package of promising proposals for improving competencies, attracting investments, and creating innovative business projects.

 

Dmitry Mikhailov-Chinese Language School KitRus LLC spoke about tools for building business communications with the leader of economic development China.

 

The important topic of developing the quality of life through caring for nature and wildlife was presented by Maria Guryeva, ANO “Modern-Ferma”.

 

The session ended with of speech of the last speaker Kristina Muravyova, head of the Expert Analytical Center, on symbols in intercultural communications of building a multipolar world.

During the panel session, the speakers told a lot of interesting things from the field of international culture, prospects for the development of the economies of foreign countries and integration processes. The speakers also talked about internship opportunities, the opportunity to start business projects from scratch or take part in projects of their organizations.

 

This was followed by an interactive session where Akil Mohammad moderated the interactive session.

 



The first speaker was Natalia Lvovna Belyaeva, representative of the project “Priklucheniye Inostrantsev v Russii”. She made a presentation of the project and introduced young people to the privileges and important information that they can acquire thanks to this project in order to simplify their student life and stay in Russia. The unique project provides different opportunities for students.

The session was held in an open Q&A format, the speakers talked about their experience of living in Russia, life hacks for adaptation, getting a job, starting a business, receiving grants, obtaining RVPO, research opportunities, investing in projects and much more.

 

Founder and Chair of the South African International Students Association, Tumisang Victoria Maheso shared her experience of how she founded an organization to connect and support South African students and beyond. She shared her difficulties and the gratitude she received.

 

Saurabh Tiwari, General Secretary of the Association of Asian Students of RUDN, Translator, author of RT spoke about simple ways to find employment in Russia for students and adaptation methods especially for those who came to Russia for the first time.

 

Chatzitheodoridis Eleftherios, President of the Association of Greeks at RUDN University, shared his own experience of living, plans and motivation to live and study in Russia.

 

Head of the Department of Cooperation with Eurasia, CIS and SCO, IYES Foundation, Aziza Abdulazizzoda devoted her speech to identifying problems and proposing solutions through creative initiatives and projects. The topic of safety among young people and the safe use of today's technologies was also highlighted.

 



The finale of the Dialogue: “Intercultural interaction: Youth of the World” was the Presentation of the African Continent, which was brilliantly conducted by Markesh Iracena, the Association of Africans of the State university of Management and a demonstration of an African wedding, drumming, and the beautiful color of African costumes.

 

The event concluded with an iftar party, with many participants fasting during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.
