Participation is Open for the International Competition "Tell the World About Your Homeland"

The ANO "Innovative Center for the Development and Education of Children and Youth" with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo), the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Rospatriotcenter", the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Rosdetcenter", the "Russian World" Foundation, the All-Russian Public Organization for the Promotion of Youth "Yunarmiya", Moscow State Pedagogical University, the National Parental Association for Social Support of Families and the Protection of Family Values ​​has been holding the International Competition "Tell the World about Your Homeland" for seven years.


"Tell the World About Your Homeland" is a competition aimed at patriotic education of children and youth, the formation of a sense of love and respect for their native land in the younger generation, as well as the development of friendly interethnic relations. As part of the competition, participants choose the most interesting events, traditions, and memorable places of their Homeland and tell their compatriots and peers abroad about them in the format of a video or a text page - a presentation with a mandatory translation into a foreign language.


The best competition entries are displayed at major government venues and are also used by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Rossotrudnichestvo, and the Russkiy Mir Foundation as a tool of public diplomacy to promote the culture and traditions of the peoples of Russia abroad.


Based on the results of the Competition, all participants receive electronic certificates, mentors receive electronic letters of gratitude, and winners receive diplomas and memorable prizes. All winners are invited to a ceremonial award ceremony in Moscow with the participation of government and public figures.


Age categories of participants:


  • Children under 7 years of age (1 age category)

  • Children aged 7-10 years (2nd age category)

  • Children aged 11-14 years (3rd age category)

  • Boys and girls aged 15 years and older (4th age category)


The work must be completed in two languages ​​(Russian and any foreign language)
