The festival is organized by the St. Petersburg campus of the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE - St. Petersburg) together with PJSC Rostelecom

Why participate?

What are the requirements for Festival participants?

• The competition is held among Russian university teams consisting of 2 to 5 people.

• At least one team member must be affiliated with a higher educational institution of the Russian Federation (be a student or employee).

• Teams presenting technological projects, i.e. projects based on the use of the latest scientific knowledge and/or technologies or organizational and managerial innovations, are allowed to participate in the Competition.

• Projects with a minimum viable product are allowed to participate in the Competition — a product with minimal but sufficient functions to satisfy the first consumers in order to obtain feedback to form hypotheses for further development of the product (hereinafter referred to as MVP). Examples of MVP may include a landing page or a website with a feedback form, a questionnaire, an application, a prototype of a device, etc.

How will projects be evaluated?

All projects will be assessed according to three main criteria-

• technology/innovation (the presence of technology in the project, its novelty on the market and the degree of elaboration are assessed),

• business model (the presence of mandatory sections of the business model (clients, offer, infrastructure and financial stability) and the degree of their elaboration are assessed),

• market (the quality of the market analysis, and the validity of the demand for the proposed solution are assessed)
