The Council of the Eurasian Women’s Forum and Rosatom are launching the first international contest of women’s projects from BRICS countries, dedicated to sustainable development and environmental protection.

The goal of the contest is to promote environmental initiatives, encourage peer exchange and share benchmarks across BRICS countries.

Who can participate:

• Women from BRICS member countries — Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Iran, Egypt, Ethiopia, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia are invited to participate, regardless of their place of residence.

  
  

• A participant in the competition can only be a woman who is a representative of an organization, a direct manager, a leader of a business initiative within a corporation, the head of her own environmental project, or an activist, influencer, or educator in the field of ecology and sustainable development.

  
  

• The participant must have at least 3 years of verified experience in ecology and be involved in implementing environmental projects in BRICS member countries.

  
  

Benefits for participants:

• The opportunity to present the project internationally.

• Mentoring support from international experts for finalists and winners.

• Interviews with winners and finalists with international media.

• An official certificate issued by the Council of the Eurasian Women's Forum and Rosatom.

• Winner's diploma. The printed winner's diploma is presented at the official event in Moscow or mailed upon request.

• An opportunity to become part of an international women's environmental community that brings together activists from BRICS countries.

• An opportunity to engage participants from BRICS countries in your project.

  
  

Timeline of the competition stages:

• Start of application submission – September 18, 2024

• End of application submission – December 16, 2024

• Expert evaluation of applications and selection of finalists – Q1 2025

• Publication of the list of finalists on the competition website – Q1 2025
