In 2024, the year of Russia’s chairmanship of BRICS, the Russian stage of the International socio-cultural program “BRICS People Choosing Life” will take place. The program will cover Moscow, the Moscow region, Tver, Samara regions and the Altai Territory. The first participating region was the Tver region, where the main events will take place from June 24 to 30.
During the Tver Phase of the program, a series of events will be hosted.

Meeting at Tver College named after A.N. Konyaev on the creation of the Russian-Indian Center for Leo Tolstoy and Mahatma Gandhi.
Art exhibition and charity event “Children for Children” in Gymnasium No. 12.
“Days of India in Tver” from June 28 to 30 in the City Garden, including a Trade Festival and a festive concert.
The international and interregional socio-cultural program “BRICS People Choosing Life” started in India in 2022 and brought together more than 2000 students from leading Indian universities, colleges and schools. The program promotes the development of cultural, educational, trade and economic ties between Russia and India, as well as strengthens friendships between the peoples of the two countries.
The organizers of the program in Tver are the Russian public organization “BRICS. World of Traditions", International Youth Edu-Skills Foundation, Patrice Lumumba People's Friendship University of Russia and Smart World Services LLC.
The co-organizer of the events in Tver is the Center for International Cooperation of the Russian Ministry of Education.
