The Gorchakov Foundation has selected the best projects of the participants of "Eurasia Global"

From Iraq to Mexico – the Gorchakov Fund selected the best projects in the area of development of bilateral relations between Russia and other countries during a grant contest for foreign individuals held on the sidelines of the International Youth Forum "Eurasia Global". The forum took place in Orenburg on September 2-8. The contest, organized by the National Youth Council of Russia, is traditionally held in partnership with the the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh). During the period five years it has remained the only platform in Russia providing grant opportunities for foreign individuals. In 2021, 92 applications were received during a correspondence stage of the contest. In advance of the forum, the Gorchakov Fund hosted online maser classes on preparation of the applications and improvement of project management skills. Rosmolodezh covered travel expenses for participation in the Eurasia Global Forum for several participant s of the preliminary program. 28 projects from 19 countries were selected for the final stage of the project defense on the sidelines of the forum. The project defense was held online and in person.



As a result, the Fond supported projects of nine participants:


- Akil Mohammad, International Youth Forum "BRICS PLUS" (India);

- Erkinov Farhod Gofur Ugli, Career school for foreign students of the North Caucasus Federal District (Uzbekistan)


- Aziza Khemraeva, International Educational Camp "New Youth Way" (Turkmenistan);


- Kadiri Sajid, International Conference "Topical Issues of Security of Central Asian Countries" (Afghanistan);


- Ivan Ivanov, Youth Anti-Terrorist Forum "Together for LIFE!" (Kyrgyzstan);


- Ana-Maria Skurtu, International youth laboratory of project thinking "Proektum" (Moldova);


- Andrey Nevelichki Guzman, Humanitarian and Cultural Project "Russia - Mexico" (Mexico);


- Zhang He, Youth International Forum "Russia - China" (China);


- Syala Ahmed Vaad Hazim, International Forum “Russia and Iraq: Humanitarian Cooperation of the XXI Century” (Iraq).
