XIV Indian-Russian Business Dialogue
The 14th edition of the Indian-Russian Business Dialogue took place on December 19, 2023, hosted at the International Multimedia Press Centre of MIA Rossiya Segodnya. Serving as a pivotal platform, the Dialogue plays a crucial role in enhancing bilateral trade and business prospects between India and Russia. The primary objective of the event is to foster cooperation, encourage partnerships, and delve into potential development avenues that offer mutual benefits for businesses.
The event was organized by the Indian Business Alliance with support from the Business Council for Cooperation with India of the Moscow Department of Foreign Economic and International Relations and the Roscongress Foundation, the forum attracted significant participation. Entrepreneurs from both countries, representatives from regional and federal ministries, agencies, as well as individuals from the Russian Federation's various regions, development institutions, and public organizations, were actively involved in the event.
The program of the Dialogue covered various thematic tracks, including 'Financial Cooperation,' 'Cooperation in Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare,' 'Support for Innovation and Entrepreneurship,' 'Trade and Logistics,' 'Tourism and Cultural Relations,' and 'Digital Transformation and E-commerce.'
Mr. Ved Prakash Singh, the first secretary of the economic and commercial department of the Indian Embassy in Russia, emphasized the importance of exploring new sectors where India holds substantial potential. He highlighted areas such as spare parts for cars, textiles, ceramics, electronics, and leather goods as promising avenues for collaboration and growth.
Akil Mohammad, Founder and Chairperson of the International Youth Edu-Skill Foundation (IYES Foundation), President, Centre for Global Business and Investment Promotion took part in the Dialogue.
